FOUNDER, OWNER, and Principal Auctioneer

Ethan is a licensed auctioneer in Kentucky and Tennessee. Ethan has sold multiple million-dollars worth of assets over the past 5 years, which consist of real estate, farm/construction machinery, and miscellaneous personal property.

He is a two-time top 5 finalist in the Kentucky Auctioneers Association State Championship Bid Calling Competition, and he competed in the 2026 International Auctioneer Championship.

He is a member of the Kentucky Auctioneers Association, Tennessee Auctioneers Association, and the National Auction Association.

TERESA KING ADMINISTRATIVE COORDINATOR

Teresa King serves as the Administrative Coordinator for Optimal Auction Group. She brings more than 20 years of experience in human resources management and accounting. While maintaining her full-time career, Teresa oversees many of the company’s day-to-day administrative functions, including auction registration, financial record maintenance, mailing list management, and other essential office operations. She is a vital member of our team whose dedication, organization, and attention to detail help keep Optimal Auction Group operating smoothly and efficiently.

CHRIS KING, CASHIER, AND CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE

At Optimal Auction Group, Chris fills a variety of important roles. Most often, you’ll find him serving as our on-site auction cashier, where he ensures transactions are handled accurately and efficiently. He also assists with overseeing auction operations, helping maintain an organized auction environment, and ensuring buyers and sellers receive the assistance they need. Whether directing customers to the appropriate team member, answering questions, or helping keep auction day running smoothly, Chris’s professionalism, leadership, and dedication to customer service make him an invaluable member of the Optimal Auction Group team.

Chris has more than 30 years of experience in education. Throughout his distinguished career, he served as a teacher, assistant principal, and principal at the elementary, middle, and high school level, developing a reputation for leadership, organization, and a commitment to serving others.
